Responsibilities
- Faculty, staff, students, and other assistants have the responsibility
to follow recommended safety practices whenever using the shop tools,
equipment, and facilities.
- Faculty and staff have the responsibility to make certain that students
and other assistants under their charge receive appropriate safety training
and adhere to safety practices when using shop tools, equipment, and
facilities.
- Faculty and staff have the responsibility to inquire whether or not
a student or assistant has received training, and to stop such workers
if they observe unsafe practices.
