a machine. Chips from another machine could fly into your eye.
Clothes and Hair
- Tie up long hair
- Secure loose clothing
- Remove jewelry
- Wear appropriate footwear (nothing open-toed)

- Sound funny? Get assistance
- Do not measure moving parts
Machines
- If you don't know or are unsure, ASK
- Before starting a machine
- Inspect the machine
- Make sure work piece is secured
- Remove things chuck keys & wrenches
- Do not leave machines run unattended
- Clean up after yourself
- Dirty machines are unsafe machines
- Do not use compressed air for cleaning
- Forces dirt into machine bearings
