CURRENT RESPONSIBILITIES
60% Extension/30% Teaching /10% Research

Extension/Research responsibilities focus on exploring and developing strategies for optimizing energy usage to increase profitability and cash flow of agricultural production and food processing enterprises.  Activities also focus on residential consumers for efficient usage of energy without sacrificing health, safety, and comfort.  Current emphasis devoted to alternative, renewable forms of energy.  Web sites developed and updated to support extension/research thrusts are http://BurnCorn.cas.psu.edu and http://Energy.cas.psu.edu

Teaching responsibilities include teaching Biological Systems Engineering (junior level), Energy Management Systems (junior level), and Introduction to Engineering (freshman level) at Penn State; teaching Biological Systems Management each year in Russia at Moscow State University; and academic advising of Agricultural and Biological Engineering students in Class of 2010.
