Teaching
Courses in agricultural safety and health are designed to help students recognize
and identify farm work hazards and to learn and develop prevention and control
strategies. Upper level course work also addresses legal and ethical responsibilities
and approaches to agricultural safety and health education and training. Issues
are address in regards to all aspects of production agriculture and related
businesses.

ABE/ASM 326 Hazard Identification and Control in Production Agriculture
and Related Businesses: Identification and control of hazards common to
farms and agriculturally related rural businesses, including structures,
equipment, animals,
chemicals, outdoor environment.
Prerequisite: third semester or higher.
